Uniforms
Our community wear is required to be worn at all times in school and at school events.
Our community wear promotes a sense of belonging and removes barriers.
Aims and Objectives
Our international school community wear policy is based on the notion that a school uniform:
Promotes a sense of pride in the school
Engenders a sense of community and belonging towards the school
Is practical, easy to manage/prepare for the day, and smart
Identifies students with the school
Makes students feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance
Is regarded as suitable wear for school
Is designed with health and safety in mind
Requirements
- From September 2023, our students will be required to wear the Mougins School uniform on their 'top half".
- Families can mix and match between the polo shirt or the shirt, and for colder weather they can add the hoodie or the jumper.
- For PE class, they are required to wear the official school sports kit.
- For any events or school trips (unless otherwise notified), uniform will also be obligatory.
- Our community wear promotes a sense of belonging and removes barriers. Parents and children don't have to worry about the stress of proper school attire and students can focus on more important aspects of school life.
- We have a range of uniforms suitable for summer, winter and sport. Our students have a school uniform designed specifically for them, with an emphasis on comfort and ease.
Important information regarding failure to meet expectations:
It is important and necessary for all students to meet the expectations that we have set out. Failure to do so unnecessarily wastes the time of teachers, students and parents. However, the school will follow the strict policy below:
Students who do not come to school in the expected uniform will not be admitted to lessons. Parents will be contacted and asked to bring the correct uniform into school or to collect their child.
Students who do not have the correct PE uniform will not be permitted to take part in PE lessons.
Repeated infringements will be regarded as being against our behaviour policy and will be treated as stated on that policy under the community
