She is an academic Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, based in Johor Bahru. As an experienced clinical academic for over 20 years, she has focused on Women’s Health education and research, and has a growing interest in health issues affecting women in Malaysia, from a public health perspective, like the growing burden of gestational diabetes and its postpartum sequelae. Through her leadership in establishing the Women’s Health Network and Women’s Health Research platform at Monash University Malaysia, she plays a vital role in advancing the future well-being of Women’s health in Malaysia, by fostering intersectoral collaboration, building networks and enhancing medical education in this area.
She is an academic obstetrician/gynaecologist. She has a clinical appointment at Monash Health and is the Head of the Health Systems and Equity Directorate at Eastern Health Clinical School. Her research is in women's public health and health services to improve health across the lifetime, with equity in health literacy, access and outcomes a priority. Key areas of interest include polycystic ovary syndrome, preconception health, infertility, obesity in reproductive health, and premature ovarian insufficiency.
He is a human-computer interaction researcher with particular expertise in human-centred design methods, digital-in-health, and collaborative and social computing. He has founded Action Lab: Australia, a multidisciplinary research group comprising impact-focused researchers working at the intersection of communities, technology and social innovation. This has since grown into the Action Lab Network, a transnational research network spanning Action Lab's in Monash University Malaysia, Monash University Indonesia, and Northumbria University in the United Kingdom.
She is a senior research fellow and Accredited Practicing Dietician, at the Health Systems and Equity, Eastern Health Clinical School, Monash University. She specialises in health equity and women’s reproductive health, with a focus on gestational diabetes and chronic disease prevention in postpartum women. Dr. Lim’s research centers on developing scalable and sustainable lifestyle interventions for chronic disease prevention in clinical and community settings. She collaborates widely with multidisciplinary teams across Australia and internationally and has secured major grants, including NHMRC Partnership and NHF Vanguard grants.
She is a Senior Lecturer at Deakin University. Australia. She also holds adjunct roles with Action Lab in the Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University Australia, and at Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia. Her research focuses on the design and evaluation of digital health technologies, particularly for underserved populations.
She is a Senior Research Fellow at Action Lab, Department of Human-Centred Computing. Her primary research area is digital mental health. Her work explores how technology-mediated mental health support can be designed and developed with and for people. Her methodological focus is on synthesising theoretical and empirical evidence with practical considerations throughout the process of co-design, to create positive health outcomes for the target population.
