Retroactive Payroll Adjustments in Time Management
Timesheets are locked during payroll processing. Rather than making adjustments to Timesheet Detail and notifying Payroll, you are now able to submit retroactive adjustments directly through Time Management. To make corrections to prior pay periods, follow these steps:
● Timesheets in Payroll status will display the Adjustment Timesheet feature
● Select the pay period adjustments are needed. Add, reverse, or reduce time accordingly and use the Override (O/R) feature when necessary
● Save adjustments

● Adjustments will flow to the next Open payroll
● The Summary section of the Open pay period will display the correction that will be processed. It will also display the Work Period for which the adjustment is being made
● If an error is made to Adjustments, contact Payroll for assistance
Making retroactive corrections through Adjustment Timesheets preserves the original data submitted allows for timesheets and pay statements to reflect the same information. For assistance navigating through Adjustments or general Time Management questions, please contact ps1_humanresources@moma.org
