In the afternoon of 22nd Aug, our NPCC cadets carried their Anti-Scam message beyond the school gates! Together with the officers from SPF Bukit Batok NPC, the cadets engaged residents around Bukit Batok, sharing tips on how to spot common scams and how to protect their hard-earned savings. This collaboration not only strengthened ties between our youth and the police, but also empowered the community to stay vigilant and look out for one another.

A big salute to our cadets for stepping up with confidence and care, showing that everyone — young or old — plays a part in keeping our neighbourhood safe! 💙

On 3rd May, four of our dedicated Hillgrove NPCC cadets and cadet leaders proudly represented our unit at the National Police Parade, a prestigious event that recognises the spirit of service and discipline in the police force and its youth partners.

Our proud representatives were:

For the past three months, these cadets trained diligently every Saturday, demonstrating quiet perseverance, unwavering commitment, and strong discipline. Their hard work and dedication culminated in their participation today, standing tall among fellow contingents from across Singapore.

25th Oct to 27th Oct : Alongside Dunearn, Swiss, Greenridge, AES, and Nan Hua, we wrapped up our 3D2N ATC Camp with lasting memories. The fulfillment gained by both CIs and cadets is truly invaluable, as they not only learned about jungle survival and independence but also took away essential skills in responsibility, resilience, planning, and leadership. This experience is truly priceless. Well done to all the schools for making this camp unforgettable! 

16th Aug: NPCC Unarmed Tactics Training : While the Sec 3s and Sec 1s gear up for their PYA, our Sec 2s went to HQ today for some intense unarmed combat training. 

Sec 2 cadets are hard at work reinforcing their campcraft skills! 🏕️ From mastering knots to perfecting tent-pitching, they’re gearing up for an adventure-filled year.

Sec 2 cadets stepping up as traffic enforcement officers at the Road Safety Park, guiding primary school students on the awareness of road safety! Their dedication to educate the primary school students about road safety is commendable and crucial. Here's to building safer communities one lesson at a time!  

Sec 2 cadets had a flipped lesson for campcraft, starting with tent construction to foster self-reliance and teamwork in Week 3 and followed by Field Cooking in Week 5.

On July 8, 2023, new Secondary 1 NPCC cadets gathered at Greenridge Secondary School for their first swearing-in ceremony. This was a formal induction into the National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC). Following the ceremony, the cadets were treated to a day of games and activities. They met cadets from other surrounding schools and made many new friends. They also learned essential teamwork and leadership skills. The Sec 1 cadets had a terrific time and learned a lot. They are excited and look forward to the many challenges and possibilities that await them.
