Learning Journeys

It’s too bad! With the safety restrictions in place, you’ve heard from your seniors that learning journeys have been halted in secondary schools. You wonder if you’ll have an opportunity to visit interesting learning venues beyond school, just like your seniors did.

'My teachers from the Humanities and Mother Tongue Departments created interactive virtual learning journeys for the students!' Shaun speaks, as if reading your mind.

'As part of my group task, I visited the virtual exhibition at the Eurasian Heritage Gallery, while my classmates visited heritage centres of the other ethnic groups in Singapore. We then came together in our groups to share with one another what we have learnt. While we could not physically visit the heritage centres, we were still able co-create our understanding of the multi-cultural identity of Singapore.'

You sit down next to Shaun, as he takes you on a 360-degree virtual tour of the Eurasian Heritage Gallery, learning about the Eurasian culture, and the contributions of the Eurasian community to Singapore.

You are impressed at the ingenuity of these virtual learning journeys! The personal learning devices will bring the world closer to you.

Now, are there interesting spaces in the school? Where can you visit?
