‘I’m Nicolette, the captain of the Netball. What I love about my role is that I get to spend more time with my juniors. I see myself as their elder sister, so I make time to check in on them and their well-being.’

You see the glow on her face when she speaks. It’s hard to believe but she does sound like their older sister from the way she shares about them.

Just then, a tanned female walks towards you and does a fist bump with Nicolette. She is Fiona who is coached to be the next captain.

‘My seniors really make me feel that I was part of a closely-knitted family, Nicolette was the first senior to approach me. She was friendly and yet firm with us. This is no secret - Nicolette is my idol! If not for her guidance, I wouldn't be where I am now,’ Fiona adds.
