All strategies in my design solution are based on two important points in the site:
Homelessness
Flooding
The main goal of my project was to design HOME for people. To design a safe, healthy, and alive living/working area for citizens (homeless people and people that can afford housing). An environment that people can live, work, grow, produce, sell, buy, eat, play, and enjoy!

... So some of the strategies are:
Homeless Village with raised bed farms, dining tables for people to sit and enjoy the food together, outdoor kitchens, pergulas as gathering spaces or places to sell foods and vegetables. Under the bridge for having vertical shelters, Access to the farm from a tunnel under the railroad.
Trailhead with a parking lot, brochure station, restrooms, signs, trails, and sitting and gathering areas.
A green network that is pedestrian-friendly including green streets, open spaces, private common areas, and redeveloped trails. One of its main goals is enhancing the connectivity of the surrounding neighborhoods.
Improving public transportation to the site and from it.
A train station in the middle part of the site to improve public transportation for residents and people who work in this area.
Using under the bridge area as a shared parking lot between residential buildings and offices.
