Site-wide Sections

These drawings represent section views of the site. In Section AA the white building on the far left is a neighboring building included to provide a comparison of building heights. To the right of that point is the residential area across the river is the commercial and office spaces on the right side. Section BB offers a closer look at the office portion of the site, highlighting the variation in building heights and giving a better sense of the scale and relationships between the buildings. 

Retail Space Sections

These sections zoom in on the retail and office portion of the design. Section AA cuts through the majority of the buildings in this area, highlighting the main gathering spaces, the central plaza, and the features that define the primary entrance to the shopping district. Section BB runs perpendicular to AA, cutting across the retail corridor and providing a more detailed view of the three-story office building. It also offers an additional perspective on the outdoor gathering spaces and how they connect throughout the site. 

Streetscape and Detailed Sections

The drawing on the left is a streetscape detail from the eastern side of the site. This design features a wide sidewalk and a dedicated bike lane positioned on the left, separated from road traffic by a landscaped planter bed. To make room for these improvements, one vehicle lane was removed, converting the roadway into a four lane street with two lanes in each direction. A raised pedestrian island with street trees now occupies the center of the road, helping to calm traffic and make crossing safer. The drawing on the right is an enlarged detail of the central gathering space, illustrating in a clearer way how the space is organized and how people would interact with its features.
