At Millburn Academy we strive to provide the best possible education and natural workplace progression possible. Currently students that study N5 Practical Woodwork and Metalwork have no further, in school, progression pathways. We have spearheaded a project to create a National Progression Award that acts as a natural educational progression from Practical Woodworking.

Level 5 Furniture Craft is a Woodworking Based course that takes students through traditional furniture making practices focusing on framing, carcass making and veneering. This is now a fully certificated Level 5 NPA through the SQA.
