Intro to CAD - Homestyler Renders (S1)

S1/S2 have been giving interior design a go using Homstyler online and the results have been fantastic. Students will now move on to design the outside of their homes using Google Sketchup.

Intro to CAD - Google Sketchup Renders (S1)

S1/S2 experienced architecture for the first time by designing and creating their houses on Google Sketchup online. This project followed on from the interior design unit and now pupils will go on to advertise their houses through the use of Desk Top Publishing.

Competition Success

I Design Future

S3 Graphic communication (2019-2020) - Hundreds of Highland pupils have taken part in ‘I Design Future’ initiative, a competition for young people to help design branding for an Electric Vehicle (EV) and charging infrastructure throughout the region. Samantha Flavell was the overall winner of the competition with her winning design being rolled out in the near future.

STEM Club

Our stem club took part in a robotics challenge throughout the year, they designed, built and programmed their robots to perform a series of tasks. The group worked very hard during their lunchtimes and did a fantastic job in the competition.
