Overview of the Unit

In this unit students will learn about how the Vietnam War. The Vietnam War was a long, costly and divisive conflict that pitted the communist government of North Vietnam against South Vietnam and its principal ally, the United States.

• How does military conflict divide people within a country?
• Should a country support their government during a time of war?
