Unit 7: Paying Taxes

Overview of the Unit:

In this unit students will learn what taxes are and understand why they are important. Students will also calculate exemptions, the effective tax rate, assessed values and property taxes.

Essential Question:

What are possibilities of not knowing what taxes to pay?
