The Civil War

Overview of the Unit

In this unit students will learn about the election of Abraham Lincoln fueled the separation between sections of the United States in what would become the Civil War. Students will learn about specific battles, important figures and the affects of the war.

• Should war be conducted against both military and civilian populations?
