Consumer Math I & II

Overview

In Consumer Math students will learn about wages, buying food, preparing for careers, buying clothing, counting money, managing a household, paying taxes, budgeting money and buying a car. Students will compute math equations that include adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. Throughout the year, students will practice counting money by receiving a paycheck from his/her teacher every other week and is allowed to purchase items in the classroom grocery store.
