The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is one of the widely celebrated events in the Church that the Christian community in the Philippines honor on December 8. All parish churches around the world celebrated special masses during this day to honor Mary, our blessed mother.
"We should remember that our Blessed Virgin Mary ay malapit sa atin. Ang ating hantungan, ating lapitan. Ang Mahal na Birheng Maria ay hindi lamang ina ng ating Panginoong Hesukristo. Ibinigay [siya] ng Panginoong Hesukristo sa paanan ng krus na siya'y magiging ina rin natin. We have to accept that and allow her to be our mother," Father Boy shared.
The grade five students finally had their first communion yesterday, November 11, 2022, after the activity had been postponed for two years due to the pandemic.
