An online fundraising project through Facebook was completed last August 31, 2021 which was spearheaded by Batch 2006 MCS Alumna, Mrs. Agnes Rea Alanzalon-Kumar. The proceeds were used to buy 20 MyPhone tablets with prepaid sim and credits for selected eligible Regular Students and Night High School students of MCS who are in need of proper devices for the school’s Online Distance Learning (ODL).
Last October 29 2021, Malate Catholic School, along with its sister schools of the RCAMES’ Cluster 8, celebrated the Rosary Month in unison through a live-streamed "Living the Rosary" via the Cluster 8 Schools’ Facebook page. The event showcased the devotion of Malateans, ECSians, and Clarians to the Blessed Virgin Mary as well as how they lived their mission as Catholics.
As the Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) Philippines organization livestreamed on their Facebook page their program of “One Million Children Praying the Rosary” yesterday, October 18, 2021, Malate Catholic School was one of the numerous schools from all over the country who participated in the Facebook live of the event of this program. #1MKidsPraying #MCS

Last August 27, 2021, a Holy Spirit Mass was held inside Malate Catholic School’s High School Department Chapel which was streamed live through the Cluster 8 Schools’ Facebook page. The mass was presided by School Director Rev. Fr. Elpidio “Boy” D. Biliran Jr. and concelebrated by the Asst. School Director and Finance Officer, Rev. Fr. Solomon “Sol” A. Jardinero while the whole Cluster 8 community participated in the mass virtually. A sorrowful news was made known to the whole Malate Catholic School community last August 5, 2021, which on that day, was the passing of Mrs. Armelle F. Clemente, an Araling Panlipunan teacher at MCS for 37 years; she is also known as Ms. Armelle Floresca in her early years of teaching. Subsequent to this is a Requiem Mass last August 10 and a Tribute through Google Meet last August 11, all dedicated for Mrs. Clemente by her MCS family. CONTINUE READING
Yesterday, August 6, 2021, at 11:00 am, a Banal na Misa sa Unang Biyernes ng Buwan (First Friday Mass) was held which also celebrated the Kapistahan ng Pagbabagong-anyo ng Panginoon (Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord) through a livestream at the Cluster 8 School’s Facebook page.
