BLOOMING UNDERNEATH FADED SCARS
BLOOMING UNDERNEATH FADED SCARS
People tend to forget that without a stable mind, pain would be afflicted not just to your head—but to your body as well. Even if the signs aren't as obvious as we try to make them be, they're still there; haunting; hidden behind fabrications we force ourselves to uphold.
Without mental recovery, what effort should a person who hadn't gained the help they needed place into a life that doesn't seem befitting to them? We only live once, so let's take a moment and speak to the people who are suffering in aching silence. Even a wilting flower can be saved if given the right support they need.
A bud eventually blossoms, its petals coming undone.
A future planned out, a life not one can outrun.
We bathe in compliments and praises that we like,
But sooner or later, some problems would strike.
In a system where the body matters more than the mind,
Issues are overlooked and their eyes become blind.
When the signs start to show and our spark slowly dies,
The pain we harbor would be hidden behind lies.
Oh, weeping child, your eyes have grown heavy.
Bags dark and visible, a mindset less healthy.
You’ve faced on challenges with a storm of raging thoughts,
But how much longer can you hold on until your head begins to rot?
Let’s offer our support to those who are struggling,
And listen to their feelings that they kept bubbling.
Awareness can shine whenever empathy is shown,
Reach out and make sure that your concern for them is known.
Even a wilting flower that once had its burdens caved,
Could also find love if they are catered to and saved.
Your mental health matters, so don’t throw yourself away.
For with every new scenario bears a lesson it would like to convey.
