HE, WHO LUMINATES
HE, WHO LUMINATES
What makes one shine in a crowd of everyday people? Some say it takes fame to climb up the ranks, while others would tell you that you need remarkability to create a flame just as brilliant. However, in his case, Jesus himself was radiance incarnate. He, whose heart held so much love for those around him, had wonders born from the creases of his hands. Moments that revealed his divinity to the crowd are captured and told in The Luminous Mysteries — where the flock of sheep witness their shepherd create wonders out of light.
There at the river, where Jesus is cleaned,
He rose from the water, and the heavens then gleamed.
The Spirit of God descends down as a dove,
And spoke about his Son, who He very much loves.
At Cana in Galilee, a marriage had ensued,
Though without wine, the attendees were confused.
Jesus, their savior, had come to their aid,
Turned water into wine and a miracle was laid.
When John was arrested, Jesus soon preached,
Spouting the gospel, he confused them with his speech.
He talked about a kingdom, a god, and an abode,
Encouraged to repent, they had their doubts stowed.
Up on a mountain, Jesus prayed with devotion,
Not a few minutes later, he became a glorious notion.
His Father, from a cloud, eventually spoke to three men,
Told them that he was His Son, and asked them to listen.
By the time they soon ate, news was announced,
His body became the bread, and his blood was wine pronounced.
He shared it to many, gave it all for free,
For he is within us, and we are within thee.
All these events brought forth his divinity,
And proved that this mortal had genuine sanctity.
For Jesus is our savior and the shepherd to any,
With a luminous light, he brings hope to many.
