Effective Monday, July 14, 2025 MATC faculty, staff and students will log into Blackboard using their MATC email address, password and now DUO.
Students should refer to their course syllabi and ask their instructors what specific software they will need for their courses. However, free software downloads are provided in the lists below.
Students can download the free Blackboard App to an Apple iOS 13.0+ or Android 11+ mobile device to view course content, receive notifications, and participate in online discussions or meetings. Some types of content and features may not be available through the app. See the Student Guide to the Blackboard App for details.
When you are logged into your MATC Gmail, access these free web-based mobile-friendly tools to create and share files as well as collaborate online with others. To learn more see the Google Workspace Center and the direct links below.
Current students may use their MATC Gmail accounts to access free web-based versions of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote by going to the Office in Education website. If you need MS Access, please download the 30-day free trial. For support, please see the Office Support website and Training Center.
