Central idea: Roles and responsibilities lead to successful leadership.

We have explored our first line of inquiry into different roles and responsibilities. We discussed the definitions of roles and responsibility and the difference between adult and child responsibilities. As part of this inquiry, we investigated the different roles in the community and debated the most important roles. Our understanding was enhanced by interviewing Rev. Nicky, who answered our questions on what her role and responsibility is within the Marden community. 

We have enjoyed reading both of our core texts - 'Nelson Mandela - The Long Walk to Freedom' and 'The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind'. So, far we have written an autobiography of our main character and argued on whether magic exists influenced by the beliefs of our main character - William Kamkwamba.
