Central idea: The appreciation of artforms can be determined by the audience.

This week, we have continued focusing on how artists use artforms as a means of expression, and have explored our own artists (whether they be a musician, author or painter), creating a biography to celebrate their lives and consider how they used art to express themselves. We then created our own artwork to express ourselves, considering what we could include to show our personalities, skills and charisma.

We have begun exploring fractions in maths, with a focus this week on finding equivalent fractions and converting between mixed numbers and improper fractions. We also carried out a scientific investigation to explore how the mass of an object correlates to its weight considering the relationship with gravity.
