1Willow Learning Update

Central idea: Celebrations can enhance the way we see the world.

This week willow class has continues their inquiry into celebrations. They have learnt about many special days such as St George's day and St David's day to name just a few. They have produced some beautiful art work and have continued to show amazing progression in their writing skills.

In maths they have started to explore shapes 2D and 3D. The children have built houses and rockets all while naming the 3D shapes that they chose to use for their structure.

In science we have continued to learn about materials. We have described and even gone on a material hunt in the school spotting many different types of material.
