Learning Update

In maths, we have continued to develop our revision of fractions, combining our learning and different methods to solve multi-step word problems. We have worked hard to overcome difficult problems and become confident in adding and subtracting mixed fractions.

I am so proud of how reflective Monkey Puzzle have been in their learning this week, their creativity and attitude to their inquiry has been admirable! We have continued onto our second line of inquiry by exploring the development of architecture through history, focusing on Egypt and the Pyramids of Giza. This has led us into a creative week of writing, with our setting descriptions of a new realm in the Wonderscape. We then designed and sketched maps, inventing tasks, riddles and puzzles for the book characters to solve. We hope you enjoy looking at these.
