Central idea: Expression can be influenced by our values.

This week we began delving into our inquiry, focusing on what values are, specifically the things the children value and any personal values they may have. We also looked at identifying European countries and ones surrounding the Mediterranean sea, in preparation for looking at values in different cultures.

In maths we continued looking at addition and subtraction. We looked at estimating as well as complements to 100.

In guided reading we began our new key text 'Secret Suffragette' and the children have loved their small insight into who the Suffragettes were and other influential women mentioned so far.

We also continued to look at magnets and forces within our science learning and the children completed a magnets challenge where they recorded their observations and discoveries.
