Central idea: The appreciation of artforms can be determined by the audience.

This week, we have begun our first line of inquiry, which has seen us focus on what different artforms there are. We noted there are 7 key artform areas, including music, theatre and sculpture. To explore these in further detail, we created our own non-chronological reports which delved into the artform areas, allowing us to present key information to further our understanding.

In maths, we have explored different number types such as prime, square and cube numbers, considering how our knowledge of these helps us solve problems in other contexts. Meanwhile, in reading, we have begun exploring 'The Last Wild' and, despite only be four chapters in, are already hooked and enjoying applying our reading skills to unpicking issues which are arising.
