3Beech Learning Update

Central idea: Our lifestyle is influenced by our choices.

During maths this week we have finished off our topic of place value, the children were ordering and comparing numbers. We have continued with our key text in reading 'The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark' and the children are enthusiastic to show off their understanding of the different VIPERS skills.

The children have thoroughly enjoyed their inquiry learning this week. We made smoothies, with a particular focus on what they should include to make sure their smoothie includes as many of the food groups as possible! We then began to look at the choices/ responsibilities they have over their lifetime in order to keep a financially stable lifestyle. The children produced some amazing self portraits and observational drawings of fruit!
