1Willow Learning Update

Central idea: Human relationships can create a sense of belonging.

This week has been full of wonderful and exciting learning through inquiry. We read the story of The Lonely Beast and the children made clay friends for the beast so that he would no longer be lonely. Clay can be a bit of a challenge for little hands however the children have done an amazing job and the clay figures look amazing.

The children learnt about family trees and were able to put their own family tree together, speaking very passionately about their family and who is in it.

In Year 1 we have been learning about landscape and cityscape paintings. Each and every painting is absolutely beautiful, it is clear to see the children put their very best effort into it.

Please remember that book changes are every Tuesday and Thursday in Willow Class. Please bring a water bottle to school as well as a coat now that the weather is getting colder.
