What we have been learning this week:

We have been utilising our knowledge of addition and subtraction to apply written methods to single and multi-step word problems this week before developing our understanding of factors and multiples, including what prime and square numbers are.

We have continued to enjoy our class text, Pig Heart Boy, integrating this into our inquiry. We have used the themes of transplantation and xenotransplantation that are explored in the book to work historically and to write a blog, allowing us to express our own views of this controversial practice through a form of media.
