1Willow Learning Update

Central idea: Human relationships can create a sense of belonging.

It has been a week full of learning in Willow Class. We have spoken about memories in our inquiry this week and what we can remember in our lives, briefly touching on history skills. We used our science skills and labelled our bodies. We then explored our 5 senses by tasting, smelling, hearing, feeling and seeing.

In Year 1 our phonics knowledge has really started to shine as well as the confidence of the children.

In maths we have started learning about one less and one more as well comparing by matching.

The children have had a wonderful week and have really displayed a love for learning. Well done Willow class!

Reminder: Please ensure that your child has a water bottle at school everyday. Book changes will take place on a Tuesday and a Thursday.
