6Elm Learning Update

Central idea: Identity and thinking can be influenced by the media.

We have been completely enthralled in our inquiry learning this week! Firstly, we started off with a history focus, looking at the significant developments in heart transplants over the years. We documented this with a timeline. We then used this knowledge, along with the focus of our text, to plan and write a blog presenting the thoughts and ideas of Xenotransplantation - please do ask your child for an explanation of what this means!

Our focus in maths has been prime and square numbers. The children have been investigating the patterns of these numbers to 100 and beyond.
