Oak Learning Update

Central idea: Our likes and dislikes make us who we are.

Mr Reynolds and I are so proud of the children in Team Oak. They have settled quickly and calmly into our routines and all children are beginning to make positive relationships with their new friends.

This week we have been looking at the book 'The Lion and the Bird' and Team Oak have commented on how the characters would feel throughout the story. When the Bird flew away, Edith said:

"The Lion is sad because the bird has flown away so maybe we could make a new bird out of cardboard?"

Hudson suggested that we grow plants for the Lion, so this week, we have planted cress seeds too.
