Central idea: Our lifestyle is influenced by our choices.

We have had a brilliant first week back! The children started the week by completing their Sustainable Development Goal project. We focused on goal number 2 (zero hunger). We then revisited the school values of ready, respect and safe. This was followed by looking at the learner profile attributes and how we are going strive to achieve each of them this year!

In maths we focused on place value and the children were introduced to KS2 VIPERS for reading comprehension. The children are loving our new book 'The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark'. In inquiry we have pulled apart our central idea and have thought about what the words 'lifestyle' and 'choices' mean.
