6 Monkey Puzzle Learning Update

Central idea: Identity and thinking can be influenced through the media.

This week, through our inquiry learning, we have discovered what the term 'media' means and have identified the different types of media we access on a regular basis. We have also finished our Sustainable Development Goal project around the Sustainable Development Goal 14 - Life Below Water. We have considered how the Earth's oceans are being affected by a variety of issues.

In maths, we have reacquainted ourselves with place value and extended our knowledge of place value in numbers up to ten million. We have started our core text, Pig Heart Boy, and considered the difficulties Cam is facing with a failing heart, and started reading our class story time book, Skellig.
