The Lordswood Publishing House opened its doors as Year 7 students have been busy writing the first ever Lordswood 'Lifestyle' Magazine full of articles about their time in Year 7. 

The magazine is full of College Events, interviews with teachers, articles about uniform, bullying and other important topics. 

They have also been working on their Canva Editing Skills to design and publish the magazine! 

We have had so much fun learning new skills and were so proud of our professionally printed paper! 

Mr. Price has launched the LBS Public Service cadets and students have been learning all about the different roles of the emergency services. 

They have been outside practising military drills and learning about careers in the public services. 

Ms Clarke has been running sessions on Mindfulness and this group are our new 'Mindfulness ambassadors' who are learning different skills and strategies to share with the rest of Year 7 later this half term. During this session they were introduced to the concept of stress relief and well being as well as taking part in a colouring activity for their mindfulness journals.  

They have also been getting crafty in the lead up to the festive season and how to channel their energy into focus and concentration!
