*Be mindful of deadlines. Service Academy Nomination Applications close the first week of October! This includes letters of recommendation from teachers and your counselor, as well as transcript uploads and other materials.
See your School Counselor before any deadlines (early September of your senior year is best) to ensure that all paperwork and deadlines are in order.
The Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) is a college program offered at more than 1,700 colleges and universities across the United States that prepares young adults to become officers in the U.S. Military.
In exchange for a paid college education and a guaranteed post-college career, participants, or cadets, commit to serve in the Military after graduation. Each Service branch has its own take on ROTC.

Every year, enlistment coordinators from various Military branches visit LMHS.
During the visit, students have the opportunity to talk with coordinators and gather programming information about their enrollments’ roles and responsibilities, details about their specific branch of the military, and their enrollment process.
Help us celebrate and honor the service men and women by welcoming them to LMHS!
