Each grade has their own College & Career Canva course with the most up-to-date information regarding college and career that each student should join.
If you haven't joined, ask Mrs. McFalls or your School Counselor for the code to log on.
Naviance
Naviance is the tool through which the students, school counselors, and colleges are all connected. Students will have lessons on Naviance every year from 9th through 12th grade, and are encouraged to log on and complete the assesments and inventories (see below for more on when), and also to fill out the extracurricular sheets. None of this information will be sent to colleges, it's strictly for the counselors and students to see.
When it's time to apply during Senior year, students will ask their teachers for letters of recommendation via Naviance, and that's how they will track when their transcripts and letters have been sent to their schools.
To log in, students must visit their ClassLink.
College Application Checklist
If you are applying to a college with Early Action or Early Decision with an October 1st or Rolling deadline -please review all requirements to the process to ensure your application is submitted on time.
Failure to hand in the forms in a timely manner means that counseling department cannot guarantee that your paperwork will be processed in time to meet your deadlines as the counselors need time to process the paperwork that they submit on your behalf.
Please Note: You can turn in your record request sheets to your counselor prior to fully completing and submitting your application.
