The topic for this term is: What's that sound? We will be exploring the instruments of the orchestra and which 'families' they belong to as well as the timbre of classroom instruments, creating our own Young Person's Guide to Classroom Instruments. 

We will also have a workshop visit from two members of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment in preparation for a school trip to Cecil Sharp House to hear the whole orchestra play. The title of this year's concert is Bach, Gifts and the Joy of Singing Together and the children will taken on a journey inspired by the music of JS Bach.
