Our association with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment (OAE) and their pioneering education department, led by Cherry Forbes and Andrew Thomson, began in 2017. Little Ealing is now an Associate School.
Members of the orchestra visit the school to lead workshops, in which they introduce their instruments and themes from the project - as well as exploring elements of music. Over several weeks, the children then develop the material in the classroom. The project ends with the children taking part in an interactive concert, performed by the full orchestra, either in school or at a London venue.
