Special Olympics Update
Special Olympics Bocce has begun!
Our Bocce team had its first match on 9/26 and the athletes had a blast!
Our team will also participate in a bowling match against Stevenson High School and Round Lake High School on October 5th!

Student Spotlight
Meet Marina! Marina will be graduating in December and we know she will go on to do great things! Check out this interview with Marina to learn a little bit about her time in Transition and her plans for the future:
Question: What are your plans for after Transition? What are you most excited about as you move on to your post-school life?
Answer: I will be working still at Pampered Pupz and I’m excited to finally be able to sleep in!
Question: What is your dream job?
Answer: I have it already--Pampered Pupz
Question: How has this Transition program helped prepare you for your adult life? What skills have you learned?
Answer: I’ve learned how to buy stuff, money management. The staff taught me patience.
Question: What is your favorite memory from your time at Transition?
Answer: When a coworker's baby came to visit and our teacher got thrown up on. I also liked joking around with the staff.
Question: What advice do you have for students entering the Transition program?
Answer: Expected the unexpected, expect changes every single day.
Question: What Transition services did you feel were the most useful?
Answer: The job placements were the most helpful.
Question: Which of your Transition accomplishments are you most proud of?
Answer: Graduating!
