TV's from between 2015-2019
Check if the cable is plugged in to the HDMI ARC channel.
The cable needs to be plugged in to the HDMI ARC in/output channel (Audio Return Channel) TV's often only have one of these, but some Philips has 4
Check if the audio setting is set to PCM
Set tv to HDMI output audio format: PCM (on Philips: mulitchannel audio) You find our guides here for every tv brand
Check if the CEC controller is turned ON
Check TV setting: Often named: Simplink, Smartlink, Easylink, Anynet+ and so on it goes. Different from every brand.
Reboot tv and Lemus device
After first setup and change in settings unplug power. (do not use restart or turn off/on on remote) Some changes will start working after the reboot. The reboot will take 3 minutes.
Check if SM450 indicates with solid red
When sound should be present, the SM450 should indicate that it is receiving a signal. If not, no signal is received from the tv, locate the issue
Check HDMI cable
It may be faulty or broken, often broken near the heads. Try with another HDMI cable.
Check TV firmware
Often updates and firmware solve HDMI related issues if the costumer has yet not setup the tv to Wi-Fi
