Google Home can be a great tool to configure a device to your Wi-Fi. Are you experiencing troubles then check if a suggested solution is listed below.
Can’t find the unit in the Google Home app.
- Ensure the device are within reach of the Lemus device 1-5 meters.
- Check if the there is great Wi-Fi signal where the Lemus device is placed. (Download Wi-Fi Man and Speedtest in Google Play store if you like to know)
The router might also be causing the issue, especially if you have a standard router
from your ISP. Such routers are rarely good enough to provide a good and solid signal.
We recommend our customers to invest in a solid Wi-Fi / Mesh system. Check our network guide.
- If your Wi-Fi is provided by a third party such as your employer, check with the provider if UPNP is active on your router, or if other firewall settings on the local network blocks DLNA.
Do not change the setting unless you are the administrator of the network.
- Check the light indicator on the back of the unit.
> Solid green -> the device has already established connection to a Wi-Fi , reset the unit on the back if necessary, or you would like to set it to a new Wi-Fi.
> Blinking green -> Ready for setup
