Bluetooth is a smart an easy connection, but it comes in more than 10 different standards and protocols. So good luck if you want every star to be in line, to get the best performance.
Good to know:
We do not recommend using bluetooth. We suggest our costumers to use Airplay, Google Cast, or a Wi-Fi based tech in general.
Loss in connection
- Phone device could be to far away from the Lemus device, try to move closer.
- Old phone with Bluetooth 3.0. To get the best performance we recommend the transmitting device has Bluetooth 4.2 AtpX Lossless or higher. But it is not safe to say that this will work well. Huawei does not in all phones use the best performance chips. What could make the audio jump or disconnect periodically. iPhone 5 or lower doesn't perform very well either.
Cannot connect
Some phones may corrupt the saved Bluetooth device. Head into Bluetooth settings on your phone and "forget" the Lemus device and make a new parring. It can also be that there is already an another device connected. Only one device can be connected at a time.
Low quality Audio
Ensure the phone is using Bluetooth 4.2 AptX. and that the phone is also using the tech AptX Lossless. Else we recommend using Wi-Fi streaming instead. The audio quality when mars and the sun is in perfect line, will at it highest be CD quality. 16 bit. Wi-Fi can reach 1024kps / 24bit
Many phones tends to jump to the SBC codec even if the AptX codex is available and functional. You need to set the Android phone to "developer mode" to actually be sure what is being used. iPhones has option to show this, and do not support AptX. at all. The quality is compress no matter what you do.
Delayed audio / Desync
Our system do not have (Aptx. Low latency) built-in. This means depending on your phones processor and abilities to transfer the signal fast. You will most likely have audio that is out of sync with the picture. Check if your TV has sync settings available and adjust according to the experienced delay. We always recommend to connect to a TV with HDMI ARC or Airplay through an Apple TV.
