What is learner support?
We want all learners to achieve the best possible successes and to have the best opportunities during and after their time with us.
We understand that for some of our learners, extra help is needed. We also understand that sometimes things change during your time with us. The Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team works across all sites, as a service that can be used to help learners.
Any learner with SEND, learning difficulties or additional learning needs can have access to support to ensure their needs are met.
Depending on your individual needs and circumstances, support will be arranged in different ways.
You can find out more about what we do, who we are and also get local contact information on our learner portal here.
How can I get support?
Support should be requested and organised through the tutors and staff in your department. Your department staff will then work with their local SEND representatives to understand your needs, record them, and create a Support Plan.
