WELCOME TO OUR COLLEGE COMMUNITY
We have ESOL departments for both adults and 16-19 year olds. Find out more below! There are also useful links for you to access and explore.
ESOL ADULTS (19+)
We offer part-time ESOL courses to adult students. You can study at The Enfield Centre on Roundhay Road (LS7), Deacon House in Seacroft (LS14) or our centres in Leeds City Centre. Classes are either mornings 9.30am-12pm, afternoons 12.30-3pm, twilight 3.30-6pm or evening 6.30-9pm.
All new students are interviewed and assessed and put in a class for their level when a place becomes available. We have ESOL classes from Beginners to Level 1. Once students have completed ESOL Level 1, they can then apply for GCSE English. All students will also learn digital skills and other important skills needed to succeed in their ESOL classes.
All our teachers are highly qualified and have qualifications in teaching English Language. We are one of the largest departments in the UK and have been a Grade 1 department for many years, offering very high quality teaching and learning.
ESOL 16-19
We offer full-time classes to 16-19 ESOL students at our new North Street campus. Students study ESOL, and Maths as part of a study programme from Beginner to E3. Once students have completed E3, they can then progress to GCSE.
There are lots of extra curricular activities and student trips including sports clubs, homework clubs, trips to theme parks and the countryside. Students come from all over the world and we enjoy learning about our different cultures and backgrounds.
