Definition: A refugee is someone who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster. An asylum seeker is a person who has left their country and is seeking protection from persecution and serious human rights violations in another country, but who hasn't yet been legally recognized as a refugee and is waiting to receive a decision on their asylum claim. Seeking asylum is a human right.

Write to your MP. Ask them what their stance is on the war and what they are going to do to support refugees.
Attend anti-war demonstrations if it is safe and legal to do so. Do not put yourself or others in danger, make sure that the demonstration is being organised by a reputable organisation, and be careful that you are following the law at all times.
Check your sources of information. There is a lot of false information about the conflict circulating online – this is called misinformation or disinformation. You can do your part to stop the spread by verifying your source of information before sharing.

When we talk about climate change, we are usually talking about the changes caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide created by the use of fossil fuels.

Health crises generally have significant impacts on community health, loss of life, and on the economy. They may result from disease, industrial processes, or poor policy.
