The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is the institution charged with issuing licenses. Specific licensure questions should be directed toward DESE by calling their department of licensure 781-338-6600. Creating and ELAR account and uploading all relevant paperwork is an important step toward your professional license.

This course is for all new hires and everyone who was hired after September, 2021 who did NOT attend the NTI 22 in January, 2022. Attendance at this event is a professional expectation.
This course is for ALL members of the STU who joined our community after the conclusion of the NTI Summer Institute.
The focus of 101 is to provide teachers in their first year of teaching the opportunity to continue their strong start and build a skill set in instruction based on an understanding of district structures and protocols.
(15 hours toward the Induction Program).
These meetings will be virtual.
The focus of 201 is to provide teachers in their second year of teaching the opportunity to build community and to implement the principles of Culturally Responsive Teaching and the Brain.
(15 hours toward the 50 Additional Hours of Mentored Support)
