All of Salem Public School's students deserve a cognitively demanding teaching and learning experience. We must continue to establish welcoming environments, adapt texts, emphasize comprehensible input and facilitate meaningful interactions if we are able to meet the needs of all SPS learners. In addition to these priorities, this page offers opportunities for teachers to deepen their content knowledge and skill set for teaching linguistically and culturally diverse populations as well as students with disabilities and diverse learning styles to build high quality Tier 1 learning experiences.
