Interested in enrolling in a graduate level course? This page has the forms you need for course approval and reimbursement as well as the Superintendent's Incentive courses.
All Salem Teachers’ Union members are eligible to apply for a $500 incentive (in addition to the standard $1744.50 reimbursement) for taking courses in areas identified by the Superintendent as critical to the work of the district. For the 2024-2025 school year, the Superintendent has identified the following courses and areas as high priority. STU members who successfully obtain pre-approval to take graduate-level courses from an accredited university that are aligned with the following priorities will be eligible to apply for the reimbursement ($1744.50) and additional incentive ($500).
Courses that qualify for this incentive must be one of the specific courses listed below, be aligned to one of the topics listed below and be completed between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025.
Please read the full incentive course document for thorough information regarding the initiative, details, and process.
