Workshop Description: Generation Alpha is the first group who are immersed in technology their entire lives. These kids are also referred to as the Glass Generation as their glass-fronted devices will be their main medium of communication. Engage in current research targeting digital natives and how to apply that knowledge within your instruction. Learn how to foster active consumption for young learners while keeping in mind digital balance boundaries.

Workshop Description: Together, we'll explore ways to maximize students' engagement through classroom activities and assessment strategies that will not just sustain learning but ignite enthusiasm in your students. In this session, we’ll explore 30+ activities that educators of various grade levels and disciplines can implement with students that will promote critical and creative thinking, inspire interest, and promote mastery of content and skills. The first half of the workshop will key on on pedagogical strategies while the second half will present a series of different student project ideas. Recommended for educators of Upper Elementary Grades and up.
