Save emails you sent and received about students for proof of communicating and monitoring. With your large storage space now, there is NO need to delete anything! These are great to have for evidence during our state department audits.
Trying to meet with great levels or subject Area Teachers occasionally throughout the year to get a feel for what is going on in the classroom.
Send out Monitoring Reports - This will be managed through Ellevation.
Give teachers examples of how to easily implement accommodations.
Find time to train teachers and how to accommodate objectives, presentations, and assessments at grade-level meetings, at PLC times, before and after school, etc. Create a safe and supportive environment.
Contact your MLPC for any PD resources such as ready-developed PowerPoint presentations to facilitate training Content Area Teachers.
Share your great ideas with other MLPS by email and in the ML Topic of the MLP Shared Drive.
Be an active part of your school - build a relationship with teachers, staff, administrators, and parents!
